Why is the mastering.studio service being discontinued?

Running and updating an online mastering service takes up a lot of resources of our small team at brainworx which takes up valuable time from other products. Discontinuing the mastering.studio online service enables us to continue to provide you the best sounding products out there on other platforms like plugins and applications.

Can I still download my masters?

If you still have mastering files in your account, now is the chance to download them and get your last masters done. We will close the service on April 30, 2025.

I liked the sound of mastering.studio - How can I get it now?

We now offer a standalone application for Windows and macOS that includes the same technology and built-in mastering styles as mastering.studio called "bx_mastering studio". FREE

Where can I get bx_mastering studio?

You can get the bx_mastering studio app via Plugin Alliance.

Is bx_mastering studio included in the MEGA Bundle?

Yes

What happens to my unused vouchers from my MEGA bundle?

Unused vouchers will not work after the online service of mastering.studio has been discontinued. Please use your vouchers before 30 April 2025

What happened to the tech preview of "Style Creator" previously released by Brainworx?

bx_mastering studio was developed from Style Creator and now has more features, is cross-platform and is much easier to use.
